Open that on any phone or any computer and it just works. Nothing to download, nothing to type after the slash. On a phone, once it loads, hit Add to Home Screen and it installs like an app.

Stuck with the file instead of the link? Android: save it, open Chrome, and type file:///sdcard/Download/walk.html in the address bar. Type the path, do not tap it in the download list, or the walk will not save. iPhone: save it to Files, open it from there, then Share and Add to Home Screen. Computer: save it, then double click it or drag it onto a Chrome window.

What this is. A field sheet for walking a restaurant. 229 lines to mark pass, watch or fail, a photo on anything out of standard, and a report you can print or send when you finish. The walk itself stays on the device. Finishing one sends a one-line summary to the chef so visits get logged.

How this works

  1. Go section by section. Hit PASS, WATCH or FAIL on each line. Skip anything you did not actually see, blank is fine.
  2. Tap the words on any line to leave a quick note on it.
  3. Anything that needs fixing, hit Add finding at the bottom. In there, Take photo opens the camera and Choose photo grabs one already on your phone.
  4. Four sections are marked PHOTO. A FAIL on those will not stick until you attach a photo.
  5. Before you drive off, open Export, hit Copy, paste it into the chat. That is what turns into the two reports.
  6. Walks are kept. The menu icon at the top right lists every walk on this phone, starts a new one, and switches between them. Lunch and dinner at the same store are two walks.
